Now in its third year, Maple Syrup for Mental Health has continued to grow! Caitlin Moyles, Manager of Community Counselling Services was please to accept a cheque for $3100.00 in support of our Suicide Bereavement program!

Maple Syrup for Mental Health began in 2020 as a fundraiser in memory of Chad’s brother, Michael Stein.

Maple Syrup for Mental Health was a HUGE success in 2021 and we are so appreciative of the funds received for our Suicide Bereavement program!
Thank you to the incredible hard work of organizer Chad Stein of Chad Stein Sugar Maples, Stan Stein, Trish Stein, along with his new team members this year, Steve & Ashley Palmateer of Palmateer Farms Maple Sugar Bush and the owners of Tom’s Valumart in Tweed. Together their efforts raised 285% more funds for the program over last year, with an updated total of $2100.00 raised.

ECMH’s Suicide Bereavement Prevention program is an 8 week closed group supporting family members and close friends through the loss of someone to suicide. The funds received will help address the wait list we have for this programming.
